CENTAMAX SC Coupling Elements – Standard Fitment for Large Sizes
The CENTAMAX SC type is the most common mounting solution for larger CENTAMAX elements. In this version, the bolts pass directly through the elastic element and are tightened into the hub. For this reason, SC elements are produced with plain holes (without threads), giving a robust and straightforward connection between the coupling and the driveline.
This design ensures that the torsional vibrations are absorbed directly by the elastomer, protecting the engine and driven unit from resonance and excessive stress. SC elements are widely used in generator sets, marine propulsion systems, and heavy-duty industrial drives where stability and predictable torsional stiffness are essential.
