CENTAFLEX-X series represents couplings characterized by their low weight and low inertia. This high-performance design offers an impressive permissible speed range, accommodating large permissible bores while ensuring efficient torque transmission. The coupling operates with minimal maintenance requirements and provides fail-safe performance.
Notably, the coupling elements can be disassembled without causing axial displacement, simplifying maintenance procedures. The drive can be disconnected and rotated without the need for complete dismantling. Importantly, no axial reaction forces are exerted on the shaft and bearing during torque transmission.
To ensure optimal operation even under extreme conditions, the element is designed for efficient air flushing on all sides, effectively dissipating heat. This feature guarantees cool operation in challenging environments.
The flexible element, constructed from heavy-duty plastic with integrated steel bushes and bending elasticity properties, allows for the compensation of both axial and angular misalignments.
