CENTAMAX 2800 Coupling Elements – OEM NR SC & SCE Types
The CENTAMAX 2800 is a torsionally flexible natural rubber (NR) coupling element designed by CENTA Germany for diesel engines in marine propulsion, generator sets, and heavy-duty industrial machinery. Built to SAE J620 flywheel standards (SAE 14 or SAE 18), this size offers reliable torque transfer, excellent vibration damping, and long service life in continuous-duty environments.
Two OEM fitment types are available:
- Type SC – Standard design with plain bolt-through holes for direct mounting.
- Type SCE – Alternative fitment with threaded holes in the element itself; bolts are tightened from the hub side.
Both SC and SCE provide the same torque and damping values, with OEM fitment choice depending on the engine layout.
Available in Shore hardness options:
- CM-2800-50 Shore
- CM-2800-60 Shore
- CM-2800-70 Shore
