BoWex Elastic 65 HE3/HE4 Ø314.25 SAE10 Shore 50 elastic element
BoWex Elastic is highly flexible flange coupling element. It dampens torsional vibrations, reduces shocks and insulates structure-borne noise. The BoWex Elastic coupling compensates for relatively large shaft displacements generated by manufacturing inaccuracies, thermal expansion, assembly misalignment.
For drives subject to severe torsional vibrations for flexible torque transmission in the combination of a diesel engine with splitterbox, generator, compressor, feed pump or high-pressure pump, etc.:
The BoWex-ELASTIC flange coupling consists of a highly flexible, circular rubber element made of natural rubber stressed for torque-to-bore ratio. The internal axial plug-in hub component with the external spline corresponds to the BoWex® basic type. The BoWex-ELASTIC is available in various kinds of elastomer hardness with mounting flanges on the engine side acc. to SAE J620 and with special dimensions for a power up to 5,000 kW.
