CENTAMAX 10000 Coupling Elements – OEM NR SC & SCE Types
The CENTAMAX 10000 is a torsionally flexible OEM coupling element designed by CENTA Germany for large CAT® diesel engines in marine propulsion, offshore power units, and high-output generator systems. With a torque range of approx. 13,800–15,000 Nm nominal and up to 25,000 Nm peak, this size is built for extreme reliability in continuous heavy-duty operation.
Fitment Types
- Type SC (NR): Standard bolt-through mounting with plain holes, specified in many CAT® engine-driven gensets and propulsion systems.
- Type SCE (NR): OEM version with all-threaded holes, where bolts secure directly into the element from the hub side. Commonly used in compact CAT® layouts or where threaded fitment is required.
Both SC and SCE deliver identical torque and damping values, with fitment defined by OEM specifications.
Natural Rubber Options
- Available Shore Hardness: 72, 75
- Material: Natural Rubber (NR), black color
- Temperature range: –45 °C to +80 °C
- Flywheel Standards: SAE J620 – SAE 18, SAE 21, SAE 24
