CENTAMAX 7000
CENTAMAX 7000 Coupling Elements – OEM NR & Silicone (SC & SCE Types)
The CENTAMAX 7000 is a torsionally flexible OEM coupling element engineered by CENTA Germany for large marine propulsion systems, diesel and gas power plants, and heavy industrial machinery. With a nominal torque range of 6,300–9,500 Nm and peak loads up to 15,800 Nm, it is one of the most robust and trusted solutions in the CENTAMAX portfolio.
Fitment Types
- Type SC (NR or Silicone): Standard OEM mounting with plain bolt-through holes. This is the most common configuration for marine gensets, power units, and stationary plants.
- Type SCE (NR): Version with threaded holes, where bolts are tightened directly into the element from the hub side. Used in OEM-specific layouts or where compact installations demand threaded fitment.
Both fitments provide identical torque and damping values, with the mounting style defined by the equipment manufacturer.
NR vs. Silicone Options
- Natural Rubber (NR, black color): Available in Shore 50, 60, 70, 72, 75, designed for continuous heavy-duty operation in marine propulsion, large gensets, and mining equipment.
- Silicone (Si, bright yellow): Available in Shore 50, 60, ideal for high-temperature duty in asphalt pavers, crushers, drilling rigs, and encapsulated generator systems. Silicone maintains elasticity at –45 °C to +120 °C while resisting oils, ozone, and chemical exposure.
📩 How to order: If your element is stamped CENTAMAX 7000 SC or SCE (NR or Silicone) and matches our product photos, select the correct Shore hardness and order directly. If uncertain, send us a photo, part code, or engine reference, and our team will confirm the correct OEM replacement.
