CENTAMAX 8000

CENTAMAX 8000 Coupling Elements – OEM NR SC & SCE Types

The CENTAMAX 8000 is a torsionally flexible OEM coupling element manufactured by CENTA Germany for large marine propulsion systems, offshore gensets, and heavy industrial drives. With a torque range of 8,000–12,000 Nm nominal and peaks up to 25,000 Nm, this size is engineered for extreme load conditions where precision damping and reliability are non-negotiable.

🔧 Fitment Types

  • Type SC (NR): Standard OEM fitment with plain bolt-through holes. The most common solution for large engines and power units, providing robust, straightforward installation.
  • Type SCE (NR): Includes additional threaded holes, allowing bolts to be secured from the hub side. This design is required in certain OEM installations and can serve as a direct alternative to SC when specified.
Both types deliver identical torque and damping properties, with fitment defined by the engine or generator manufacturer.

Natural Rubber Options

  • Available in Shore 50, 60, 70, 72, 75
  • Temperature range: –45 °C to +80 °C
  • Black color, OEM-compounded elastomer for predictable, TVA-calculated stiffness
  • Designed for continuous duty in marine, industrial, and mining environments
📩 How to order: If your element is stamped CENTAMAX 8000 SC or SCE and matches our product photos, select the correct Shore hardness and order directly. If unsure, provide a photo or code, and our team will confirm the right OEM replacement.
