The CENTAMAX 5000 NR Type SCE is a high-capacity torsionally soft coupling element designed for large diesel engines in marine gensets, industrial drives, and power generation systems. Made from premium natural rubber (NR), it provides reliable torque transfer, torsional flexibility, and vibration damping, extending the service life of engines, gearboxes, and driven components.
The SCE variant differs from SC by having all mounting holes threaded directly in the element. This allows bolts to be inserted from the hub side and tightened into the rubber element, a design chosen in many OEM applications for installation convenience and compact layouts. Performance, torque range, and durability remain identical to the SC version.
